You bring the relationship. We bring the build.

nimblefish works alongside consultants, strategists, and agencies as a trusted execution partner — senior-led, discreet, and built for the long game.

Let's talk about fit

If you're a consultant, strategist, or agency owner who needs a reliable senior execution partner — this page is for you.

If you're looking for a website for your own business, you want Services instead.

i · the commitment

Your client relationship stays yours. Full stop.

Before anything else: nimblefish does not pitch your clients additional work. Does not try to expand the relationship beyond what you've scoped. Does not go around you. Ever.

That commitment isn't a policy buried in a contract. It's how the practice operates. Your client came through you. That relationship is yours — and it stays that way.

How most partnerships work

Consultant & Strategist Partnerships

You bring the strategy and the client relationship. nimblefish brings the build.

This is how most nimblefish partnerships work. You scope the engagement, manage the client relationship, and define how communication flows. nimblefish executes — cleanly, at a senior level, on time. When the project is done, you look good. nimblefish steps back.

Communication with the end client runs through you unless you specifically agree otherwise. NDA-friendly from the start. No drama, no ego, no surprises.

What you end up with: a senior execution partner who makes you look good and knows when to disappear.

Agency Overflow & White-Label

You own the brand. nimblefish does the work.

When your team is at capacity or a project type falls outside your core capability, nimblefish embeds into your workflow under your brand. Intake, scope alignment, build, QA — handed off cleanly. The client relationship, project management at the client level, and billing stay with you.

Senior execution. Not junior overflow.

iii · what makes a good partner

What makes nimblefish a good partner

Twenty years of experience that translates directly into low-drama execution.

Both WordPress and modern stack capability — so the build matches what your project actually needs. An accessibility heritage that becomes a genuine value-add when it's relevant to the engagement. A curated network of specialists that can extend the team when the scope calls for it.

No junior handoffs. No missed deadlines without a conversation first. No trying to become your client's new favorite agency.

iv · how a partnership starts

How a partnership starts

Fast and low-friction.

We talk about the engagement — what it is, what you need, how you work. NDA in place before anything sensitive gets shared. By the end of a short conversation, we know whether it's a fit. If it is, we move. If it isn't, we say so and refer out where we can.

Pricing is project-based and scope-driven. No retainer requirements to get started. Custom proposals for each engagement.

nimblefish also refers work out to trusted partners when that's the right call. Peer relationships run both ways.

v · questions we hear often

A few questions we hear often.

What does the non-poaching commitment actually mean in practice?

It means exactly what it says. nimblefish never contacts your client directly to pitch additional work, expand the scope beyond what you've agreed, or position itself as an alternative to you. If your client reaches out to nimblefish independently after a project, we let you know and route accordingly. The relationship you brought is the relationship you keep.

How does nimblefish handle communication with the end client?

However you want it to. Most partnerships run communication through the consultant or agency — nimblefish stays behind the scenes entirely. When direct client communication makes sense for the project, we agree on that structure upfront. You define the working model. We follow it.

What does a typical first project together look like?

Usually a single defined engagement — a website build, a modernization project, a specific capability addition. We scope it together, align on timeline and deliverables, and execute. The first project is how we establish the working rhythm. Most partnerships that start with one project don't stop there.
